Silence and Trout Waters Call

I am leaving shortly for a few days to the family cabin, a place with no electricity, no running water, no cell coverage, and no Internet.  But it has plenty of solitude and peace. The girls and I will be back Friday, at which time I hope to have a new, substantive blog post or two for you.

Norman MacLean was famously "haunted by waters" in his final words of A River Runs Through It.

I, on the other hand, am at perfect peace in a trout stream.

P.S. If you haven't read the opening paragraph of MacLean's masterpiece, do yourself a favor and read it.  You won't be disappointed.
